Eaton’s Electrical Division is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Washington, PA. Position Overview: Eaton's Crouse Hinds, B-Line, Oil & Gas Group has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor at our Washington, PA manufacturing plant. This position will be responsible for all aspects of plant maintenance. This includes daily general maintenance along with various improvement projects. This position will be responsible for maintenance employees with respect to job performance, attendance, discipline, and administrative actions, continuously improving safety and quality. Washington, PA is the home of the Eaton Crouse-Hinds commercial outlet box facility which manufactures steel boxes, covers, and pre-fabricated electrical assemblies. In this role you will: Be responsible for establishing the direction, focus and motivation of the Maintenance team Be responsible for training of un-skilled, semi-skilled and skilled positions supporting ongoing production, facilities, and maintenance needs Schedule work activities for direct reports, review employees’ work performance and provide feedback, coordinate safety and employee training activities Apply cost containment principals when purchasing goods and services. Be able to operate within and below budget expectations Analyze and resolve work problems and assists employees in solving work problems Interface with other departments and contractors to ensure day to day and project completion Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety responsibilities by following established MESH policies, procedures, trainings, and team member involvement activities Initiate and participate in continuous improvement actives. Participate as required in problem solving teams, kaizen events, and TPM events, cross functional committees, and multi-discipline initiatives Directly supervise approximately 13 skilled employees Perform other related functions as required to achieve department and site objectives Proactively implement, promote, and maintain a safe working environment, through diligence in accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and Zero Incident culture enforcement. Implement reliability focused maintenance plan with machine optimize and equipment across site Report out on daily management meetings with the OperationsManager and team Implement machinery and equipment to MESH 8.0 standards improving ergonomic safety across site Write capital procurement requests allocating funds to support safety and productivity MESH Element Champion owner and project manager of safety related categories and programs at site level When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Associate degree from an accredited Institution Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Direct managerial experience within manufacturing environment. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Washington PA will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Experience with lean manufacturing, TPM, and/or RCM principles Experience with PLC programing, control panel/electrical and power press knowledge Position Criteria Detail-oriented High level of integrity High degree of mechanical aptitude Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to handle multiple priorities against multiple deadlines We provide benefits that are industry competitive and focused on employee well-being.
