We are seeking a passionate Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance team.

As our next Maintenance Supervisor, you will:

•    Be responsible for motivating and inspiring a small team of Maintenance Assistants to ensure that our property functions like a well-oiled machine
•    Communicate effectively at all levels, from the General Manager to guests and contractors working onsite
•    Be required to always keep a level head in a variety of situations in front of both guests and fellow team members
•    Work closely with all other departments including Housekeeping and Front Office to manage the issues at hand

What we are looking for:
•    A strong leader with previous maintenance or engineering experience within a strata/MLR operation to take ownership of the maintenance department
•    The ability to be a team player with a flexible approach to leading the Maintenance Team
•    A comprehensive financial understanding of managing a profitable operation, and familiarity with WHS legislation compliance would be advantageous
•    A relevant trade qualification is ideal
•    A capacity to take initiative and coordinate multiple tasks or projects simultaneously while maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule will be highly regarded
•    Availability to carry our emergency maintenance work outside of normal working hours, in the event of a full power failure, evacuation fire system re-set and/or failure of mechanical systems
