Eaton is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. This position is based out of our Sherman, Texas location. Position Overview: The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of Skilled Trade employees to meet the safety, quality, and production goals of the facility. In this role, you will organize, plan and monitor the repair, replacement, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of equipment and tooling, work with Skilled Trades and Operations on team assignments and priorities and identify, plan and execute individual and team training initiatives. In this function you will: Lead the maintenance team in maintaining and repair of various types of equipment including, but not limited to welding equipment, industrial robots, brake press, mechanical power press, powder paint, e-coat paint, industrial laser cutting equipment, turrets, assembly equipment, conveyance, fans, blowers, motors, pumps, cylinders, and the control systems utilized within. Work with contractors on maintenance of facility equipment including chillers, HVAC, cranes, buildings & grounds, etc. Support capital investment process through participation in setting strategy, defining projects, and executing upon assignments. Provide broad practical and technical knowledge of all areas of maintenance. Provide effective equipment troubleshooting assistance and identify solutions to improve uptime and reliability. Plan and direct scheduled or unplanned maintenance and tooling activities and establish priorities in keeping with effective operations and cost factors. Actively participate predictive, preventive, and condition-based maintenance methodologies. Develop and maintain an effective workforce through training, staffing, development, and motivation. Build and improve employee contribution, ownership, and engagement Manage inventory of spare parts, supplies, and materials required for effective maintenance and improvement of the facility, equipment, and tooling. Develop, deploy, future CMMS system to ensure timely and efficient resolution to maintenance needs while sundowning SharePoint workorder system. Lead MESH (Safety) category that correspond to maintenance and facility activities. Ensure information flow to staff on all Maintenance KPIs, company activities, policies, etc. Perform other related tasks and assignments, as necessary. Why work at Eaton? Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical preferred) Minimum 5 years of maintenance supervision experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with SAP planning and ordering functions We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
