This includes daily general maintenance along with various project work. The position will be responsible for maintenance employees concerning job performance, attendance, discipline, and administrative actions while continuously improving safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. Your Main Responsibilities will be: • Implementing and supporting EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) policies, codes or standards and performs inspections with Corporate, contract, and regulatory officials and is committed to Eaton’s “Zero Incident Safety Culture” and “Life Saving Rules”. Administer first aid and conduct accident investigations as needed. • Demonstrating leadership style on Doing Business Right and developing the team to embrace the same. • Being responsible for establishing the direction, focus, and motivation of the Maintenance hourly personnel while promoting a non-routine task mindset. • Promoting strong employee engagement through communication, employee development, teamwork, and recognition. • Overseeing and/or conducting training of new or existing employees to support ongoing maintenance needs. Schedule work activities for personnel, review personnel work performances and provide feedback, coordinate safety, and personnel training activities. • Counselling employees on behavior/performance issues and initiate disciplinary action as required within HR. • Assuring that appropriate tools/resources are available to the Maintenance personnel. • Supporting attainment of plant objectives through effective communications with other stakeholders within the business. • Applying cost containment principles when purchasing goods and services. Be able to operate within and below budget expectations. • Developing specifications for competitive bidding, participates in the contractor selection process utilizing appropriate personnel and policies, to purchase and manage services for facilities, utilities, grounds and equipment maintenance. • Interfacing with other departments and contractors to ensure day-to-day and project completion. • Being responsible for the Development of a Preventive Maintenance (PM) process, with audit controls and compliance metrics. • Being responsible for Development of the maintenance technicians’ competencies. • Beginning the advancement of proactive and predictive technologies such as IR, Ultrasonic, Vibration Analysis, and Lubrication Analysis. • Being responsible for leading the movement on Total Predictive Maintenance, with emphasis on activities and participation. • Developing and executing spare parts strategy for machinery and facilities, purchases parts for stocking, and repair of machinery • Being responsible for existing, new capital, and obsolete asset deployment and disposals. Maintains records of capital assets and assists with disposal and acquisition of equipment. • Being responsible for becoming the Subject Matter Expert in LOTO, Machine Guarding, and Arc-Flash for the facility (with collaborative partnership provided by the EHS Specialists). • Developing a System to live in a PDCA environment towards the target of 90% available uptime. • Working with the OPEX team to establish project priorities and capital plans. • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives in the areas of safety, quality, equipment, productivity, etc. • Developing and recommending improvements of facilities, equipment, or procedures to improve safety, quality, and efficiency. Lead and facilitate continuous improvement events. • Allocating the necessary resources to meet external and internal commitments while controlling costs. • Analyzing and resolving work problems or assists personnel in solving work problems including troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues. • Working with production planning personnel and production supervisors to prioritize machine repairs/maintenance activities on assets. • Being responsible from selection, deployment and effectively used for cost reduction Energy Management Tracking System. • Taking on other duties as assigned • Planning and coordinating all capex and refurbishments • Ensuring that basic facilities are well- maintained and conducting proactive maintenance • Managing the maintenance activities to meet health and safety standards. • Inspecting buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations. • Managing facility management budget (maintenance, shuttle bus, catering..) • Reviewing utilities consumption and striving to minimize cost • Supervising all staff facilities (cleaning, gardening, security, shuttle bus, company cars, etc.) and external contractors, ensuring month-end consensus regarding payment to the security, cafeteria, and cleaning company. • Controlling activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security. • Allocating office space according to needs. • Creating action plans by regarding the complains about the cafeteria, cleaning, security and personnel service, and working to increase employee satisfaction for that. • Managing contracts and service providers for functions such as catering, cleaning, shuttle bus, company cars, security, and technology. • Advising businesses on measures to improve the efficiency and cost effectiveness of the facility • Ensuring that facilities meet compliance standards and government regulations. • Planning for the future by forecasting the facility’s upcoming needs and requirements. • Overseeing any renovations, refurbishments, and building projects. • Helping with office relocations, • Managing receptionist team. • Managing spare parts and tooling warehouse. Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for: • A degree from BSC, MSC, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer. • Minimum of 5 years of solid manufacturing background including maintenance background. • Master’s degree from an accredited institution is a plus • Experience in a manager of people role. • Experience in a union environment. • Experience in metal fabrication. • SAP business system experience. • Experience implementing and sustaining a TPM program. • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams. • Demonstrated experience in facility project management. • Solid Eaton leadership competencies. • Ability to negotiate with all levels of management, both internally and externally. • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills. • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate positive and constructive feedback to employees or co-workers. • Ability to direct the training, motivation, and development of personnel. • Experienced with working in a PM System. • Fundamental understanding of Asset Reliability Principles. • Ability to reach consensus to best support the employee, the business, and the customer. • Strong understanding of budget control. • Great problem-solving skills What we offer to you: • Permanent contract in a fast-growing global company • Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team • Flexible working solutions (home office, remote, flexible working hours, part time etc.) • We make your voice matter - we value safety and trust.
