Responsibilities:

• To coordinate the use of resources and facilities, and provide advice in the practical areas of need.
• To help maintain the primary and secondary makerspaces for student use, keep equipment and materials safe and in good working order.
• To assist the Guided Discovery team, and makerspace educators with materials purchases and setup of spaces.
• Coordinate closely with primary and secondary school faculty associated with their professional development and curriculum requirements.
• To ensure the availability of suitable materials and equipment, helping to compile orders and liaising or negotiating with suppliers and finance departments.
• To work with outside organizations as required.
• To offer administrative support and perform other duties as assigned.
• To maintain and promote a healthy, safe and efficient working environment for all members of the ISF community.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree is desired
• With technical experience in a K-12 setting
• Ability to optimise novel protocols for Shuyuan programs and courses
• Comfortable to learn how to use technologies including 3-D printers, laser cutters, other digital fabrication tools
• Strong IT and procurement tools
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
• Meticulous, detail-oriented with high initiative
