This exciting role offers opportunity to: Work directly with stakeholders to deliver high quality solutions that meet technical and customer requirements Provides leadership for Software test and QA team contributing to define test strategy and execute it successfully to meet and exceed quality criteria for organization. Must be able to demonstrate technical leadership and communicate test requirements, define test strategy to maintain and improve product quality. Lead the test and QA team to deliver IOT solutions Support application testing including web, mobile and hybrid front end software and applications Support DevOps and CI/CD development and best practices Work with system testing teams to validate designs and ensure quality Work closely with other corporate teams within Eaton such as Software Centers of Excellence including UI/UX, cloud, and cybersecurity to ensure solutions are aligned with corporate standards and best practices Work and thrive in an agile project development environment Develops an understanding of both technology and product concepts and is able to articulate testing methodologies Leads and participates in project-wide reviews of requirements, test plan review; interacts with management, developers, and other leads to share infromation through Quality Dashboard. Strong verbal, documentation, and interpersonal communication skills required Identifies opportunities for process, tools, and technology improvements, and drives those from concept to implementation Estimate work load, establish and maintain project schedules and monitor progress through the project execution phases; active communication with the cross functional team to ensure schedule, cost, and performance alignment Manages and develops people: identifies, attracts and develops key engineering talent for the organization. Champions continuous process improvements to support the Eaton Business System; APEX, Employee Survey. Recruit and retain a team of engineers and support staff to provide both local product development and engineering services to the Global engineering needs. Monitors progress and achievements on projects. Provide regular reports on test development and support activities. Qualifications Requirement: 10+ Years 3-4 years as a QA Lead/Manager role Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field 4+ years of direct experience in leading system or software QA team Experience in Talent Management (Hiring, Retention, Succession Planning and talent development) High familiarity with modern system testing best practices Proven track record testing complex solutions that produce high quality products Experience testing mobile apps, web software, IOT devices, cloud services, or similar solutions Experience developing automated testing solutions Experience developing automated testing solutions using Selenium, Appium, PyTest or any other similar framework Expereince with scripting languages: Python, Javascript Expereince in Scalabilty and load testing for IOT applications Experience in manual and automated testing on Mobile Applications, Web Applications of wide range Expereince in working closely with DevOps team to develope CI/CD pipeline in Microsoft Azure or similar platform Experience working with version control and issue tracking systems such as the Atlassian tool chain (Jira, Bitbucket, etc.), Git, GitHub, or similar tools Experience working with a multi-disciplinary and multi-regional team Experience with DevOps using Azure CI/CD pipelineExcellent written and verbal skills to communicate test requirements and results Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) including the ability to explain and convey technical concepts Proven record utilizing software best practices and adapting to emerging technology trends and methodologies Strong ability to drive for results and take initiative even when requirements may be vague or undefined Strong problem solving and reasoning ability Yes!
