Manager, Procurement for Ship Supply is responsible to define and execute sound sourcing strategies within a specific region. He/She is also responsible to manage the entire procurement process; from sourcing to purchasing of ship supplies and services for our eCommerce platform.

Responsibilities

• Identify new sourcing opportunities with current and potential vendors/suppliers, working proactively within the specific region assigned.
• Negotiates contract terms and pricing of supplies and services with vendors/suppliers/3PL.
• Drives complex business analysis to identify business opportunities and business risk to improve revenue and profitability.
• Executes and maintain a supplier management framework to set clear KPIs and measurement for evaluation of suppliers.
• Responsible for providing focus and integration of data throughout the eCommerce order fulfillment process.
• Leads the procurement team to attain functional and organizational goals.
• Work closely with the Supply Chain team to ensure timeliness of delivering of goods and services.
• Work closely with Accounts Department for all receivables and payables.

Requirements

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Contracting, Procurement, Maritime Studies or Business Administration.
• Min. 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably with managerial experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Fluency in other languages (French, German or Spanish) also can be considered an asset.
• Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills generally are required for this role.
• Ability to navigate and influence at both the tactical execution and strategic levels within the supply chain.
• Experience in e-commerce Company will be advantageous.
• Entrepreneur mindset is a must.
