Responsibilities:

• Assist Senior Manager, APM System to manage the maintenance, operation and improvement work of the Automated People Mover (APM) system to ensure high standard of safety, quality, availability and reliability
• Act as the overall technical commander in charge of daily maintenance and operation including first line fault handling and planned maintenance
• Develop work flow, procedures and schedule on system operations, maintenance and refurbishment work to meet the operation needs of the airport as well as to fulfil the statutory requirements
• Assist in developing long-term strategies for maintenance, productivity improvement, service enhancement, customer satisfaction, staff training and development
• Monitor and control the expenditure of maintenance and work contracts
• Oversee asset management of the APM System
• Prepare tender for maintenance, alteration and improvement work

Requirements:

• Degree holders in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronic Engineering or other related disciplines with professional qualification from a recognized professional institution and at least 10 years’ relevant working experience
• Non-degree holders having at least 15 years’ relevant experience will also be considered.  Professional qualification from a recognized professional institution is preferred
• Solid experience in operation / planning / design / construction and maintenance of railway systems under live operating environment is preferred
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, strong problem solving, supervisory and organizing skills
• Possess a valid HK driving license (class 1, 2) is preferred
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.  Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
