Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for conducting, leading and coordinating software development activities throughout the project, including key design decisions for the technology, structure and configuration of the system.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead a team of developers to handle medium to large scale in house software development projects
  • Be the single point of contact (SPOC) representing IT liaison with business sponsor and stakeholders
  • As a .NET Technical Lead, participate in the analysis, design, development, testing and deployment phases of .NET development projects
  • Identifying business process improvement opportunities and provide technical solution.
  • Provide guidance to team members on system analysis, design and development for complex and mission critical systems.
  • Perform technical evaluation for vendor’s proposal.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

  • Deliver system meeting business requirements and quality expected and within project timeline and cost.

 

Qualifications

Experience

  • 10 years' relevant experience in software development and familiar with all aspects of software engineering and software development life cycle
  • More than 3 years experience in leading software development team

Education

  • University Degree holder in Computer Science, software engineering or related disciplines

Skills / Competencies

  • Must have hands-on programming skills : C#, VB.NET, ADO/ADO.NET, TCP/IP Socket Programming, SQL Reporting Services, SQL SSIS, SQL Server Store Procedure Programming
  • Must have hands-on advance programming experience in : WPF, WCF, App fabric, and ORM
  • Basic understanding on .NET reflection, Prism Framework, and WPF/XAML versus HTML5
  • Familiar with contemporary IT subject matters such as SOA, Workflow, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Development
  • Familiar with Gaming, Hotel and Retail operations will be an added advantage
  • Good problem solving and decision making skills
  • Able to communicate with all level of users in English
  • Possess proven supervision skills and experience in fostering team work
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish strong working relationships with people at all levels
