Job Description
- Ensure the smoothness of implementation and execution all Event and Sales coordination
- Before catering event, provide constant spot checks to ensure consistency in performance and according to standards and client requirements
- Attend Event Management meetings and other meetings as required
- Work with relevant departments to ensure all furniture and equipment are served in a timely manner and as per banquet event order / client updated requirements
- Maintain complete knowledge of events policies, procedures and service standards
- Maintain, update and distribute time schedule for the timely completion of all tasks related to smooth operation of catering event and other events
- Communicate with all involved Departments, in particular Operations ensuring the smooth execution of each event
- Advance the Mission, Values and Vision of the Convention and Exhibition department
Position Requirements
- Diploma Degree in Marketing, Food & Beverage or Hospitality or equivalent
- Approved or internationally recognized Certification in MICE and/or F&B related disciplines
- 5 or more years’ working of experience, 4 – 5 years’ of experience in related area, 3 – 4 years’ experience in Managerial Level
- Event planning and organizing knowledge preferred
- Possess a service mentality suitable for guest services and event marketing
- Have qualified organizational skills to manage several tasks at once
- Communicate clearly on concepts and ideas
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, vendors, customers and the general public
- Good in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Knowledgeable and proficient in Windows, Excel and Word
- Possess good manual dexterity. / Possess the manual dexterity to operate office equipment including a telephone, computer, photocopy machine, fax machine
- Respond to visual and aural cues
