POSITION SUMMARY:
Building Manager will add value to the Departmental performance by leading a team of Assistant Managers, Supervisors & technicians to ensure the safe and effective implementation of all building maintenance including all A&A work within the Galaxy Resort & Casino.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Thoroughly understand the building repair and maintenance procedures including A&A and their effective implementation.
2. Supervise in-house Technicians from building trades and out-side contractors to carry out building repair and maintenance and A&A.
3. Identify methods, materials and technologies in the market to improve building repair and maintenance efficiencies.
4. Devise preventive and corrective repair and maintenance procedures for building work including energy saving.
5. Provide training including safety training relating to building trades to staff.
6. Arrange building works contracts and agreements.
7. Building equipment and materials planning and purchase requisition initiation.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS:
1. Holder of High Dip in Building Technology and Management or above.
2. Possess at minimum 8 years of experience in one or more of building / construction / interior decoration at least 5 of which must be from a 5-star hotel environment.
3. Previous MEP experiences are preferred.
4. Team spirit and cooperation.
5. High efficiency and good technical background.
6. Proficiency in English and Cantonese, both written and spoken.
7. Knowledge of Mandarin preferred but not essential.
8. Shift duties as necessary and assigned.
9. Working knowledge of MS Office software applications.
