Job Description

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for the formulation and implementation of “Lift Modernisation Subsidy Scheme” to provide advice and supports on the following including but not limited to:

(a) formulating the database of the lift modernization items based on historical data

(b) determining the subsidy cap of individual applications

(c) monitoring and checking the works and performance of the Standing Term Consultant (STC)

(d) other specialized matters related to lift designs, maintenance and modernisation

  • To monitor and check the works and performance of the STC

  • To handle enquiries in relation to the works and performance of the STC

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder

  • Corporate member of the HKIE in building services engineering / control, automation and instrumentation engineering / electrical engineering / electronic engineering / marine and naval architecture engineering / mechanical engineering or equivalent

  • Not less than 10 years’ relevant work experience with at least 5 years’ relevant post-qualification experience

  • Preference will be given to candidates who have (i) the relevant experience in design, operation and maintenance of lift systems; (ii) the relevant experience in supervision of contractors and subordinates to perform the above operation and maintenance activities
