Job Description

(Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager, Business Development)

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Development, you will be responsible for:

  • undertaking necessary studies and researches to facilitate the strategic planning and market positioning for the Retail, Dining and Entertainment (RDE) functions of West Kowloon Cultural District (WKCD);
  • assisting the team in carrying out business plans on the commercial integration with all WKCD art and cultural facilities and functions, and the best utilization of its public spaces; and
  • collaborating and/or leasing with strategic operators/ collaborators/ project partners in realising the commercial integration of WKCD.

You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree in Real Estate, Surveying or related disciplines;
  • have at least 8-10 years of relevant work experience in real estate market research or development, preferably with art and cultural market knowledge and/or cross disciplinary experience in contributing to and inspiring the team in exploring new frontiers;
  • have experience in Retail, Dining and Entertainment (RDE) and other aspects in property developments, including but not limited to strategic planning, market positioning, art and cultural integration into RDE initiatives, property marketing and branding, as well as leasing management.
  • have extensive experience in market research (including big data analyses and data mining) and property financial analysis;
  • have good understanding of the international, Asian and Hong Kong art scene, abreast with trends, movement and latest property market development;
  • demonstrate good teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external stakeholders;
  • be proactive and open with creative mind to explore new frontiers;
  • be proficient in design and communication materials; and
  • be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
