Job Description & Summary

A career in Sales and Marketing, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to focus on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and drive long term revenue growth for the Firm. You’ll focus on designing, developing, and implementing communication programmes and media events to promote and sell the PwC’s brand and services as well as contribute to and evaluating our pricing strategies in the marketplace.

You’ll work with sales and marketing teams to drive consistency in executing our client relationship, and business development strategy, as well as driving our sales framework to help deliver value on key business initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Work with CNHK TMT BD Leader and China TMT Leader to update and execute the business plan for the TMT industry including strategic initiatives and programs in the region.
  • Support subject matter experts and others in connecting with TMT clients especially in Central/Shanghai (eg through developing talking points etc)
  • Manage reporting and regular meetings within the TMT community.
  • Help track and monitor industry budget and planned activities.
  • Work closely with M&C to monitor key events and thought leaderships throughout the year.
  • Work with client driver community to drive the development of account infrastructure across key TMT accounts (eg CRM, xLoS account teams, account plans).
  • Support GRPs of selected TMT priority clients to execute account strategy, maintain momentum and work with xLoS teams to drive teams to the client.
  • Ensure account infrastructure is in place and functioning appropriately.

Requirments

  • Educated to at least degree level
  • Understanding of the TMT industry in China
  • Understanding of effective account/relationship management/ opportunity management and pursuit processes
  • At least 5-10 years’ work experience
  • Fluent English and Chinese/Mandarin (speaking, reading and writing)
  • Outgoing personality with well-developed social and persuasive skills
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Good presentation skills
  • Curiosity and hunger to learn – interest in building their understanding of the firm and its services, and in building their career in the region’s – and the world’s – largest professional services firm.
  • Existing network of contacts that can be leveraged
  • Understanding of professional services firms (either through experience of working in one or by being a client of one)
