Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) Division is looking for a

Manager Business Operations Solutions (m/f/d)

for the Business Operations team responsible for the area Europe, Middle East & Africa/Pakistan.

Her/His focus will be FreeStyle Libre, a breakthrough technology of Flash Glucose Monitoring in the Diabetes Healthcare market. Freestyle Libre is directly available for clients/patients on our web-shops and in different reimbursement distributions channels such as pharmacies. Patients pay for it themselves or they are reimbursement by healthcare authorities.

The Business Operations team leads activities in e-commerce, customer experience/service and supply chain management. In essence the role is:

• Responsible for the stability and availability of all platforms of the Business Operations team, (including the management of our partners and vendors), to ensure the best experiences and value creation

• About driving the strategic planning of platform and product development and processes that ensure efficient scalability and speed. Doing so, customer value and commercial value creation is at the forefront of everything you do

• You are passionate about digitalization and automation

Responsibilities: Execute on EMEAP Business Operation Solutions

• Shape, develop and implement the Business Operations digital strategy and solutions in close alignment with global and local Digital Excellence & Digital Health strategy

• Identify , develop and implement opportunities for digital innovation with internal and external partners

• Understand and master the areas Supply chain management, Customer experience

• Conceptualizing, planning and leading implementation/adoption of technology to digitally enable new business capabilities

• Ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic operational execution and delivery, including the coordination of relevant resources

• Contribute to development and enhancement of the data strategy within the data function, making sure it is aligned with ADC long-term business strategy

• Execute requirement definitions and priority setting on a program level

• Ensure the run operation and enhancement of current application in collaboration with Internal and external stakeholders

• Be actively involved in innovation and change projects with different functional teams in globally, on area or within countries

• Build and maintain strong cooperation with BRM and IT team, External 3rd Parties and Countries

• Analyze and improve existing processes and implement new (smart and lean) processes if and where appropriate

• Shape the current digital infrastructure and IT landscape of the future with our delivery partners
   

Your Profile:

• Post graduate diploma or University degree and/or adequate degree and on-the- job business exposure. Engineering, business computer science, computer science media or an equivalent qualification. MBA is preferred

• Minimum 8 years of work experience required. Professional experience customer experience, supply chain or e-commerce area with experience in build up and use of IT solutions

• Minimum 5 years’ Experience in Med. Tech., Pharma, mail order retail or consumer good is required

• Proven project management and organizational skills (classical & agile)

• Passion for data with extremely strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills

• Team-player who takes on accountability and enjoys connecting with people in an international team

• Excellent communicator on all channels

• Strong business acumen

• Friendly Resilience

• Action and solution-oriented; self-driven and proactive

• Experienced in leading internal IT delivery teams and service provider governance (onsite/near- and offshore) in Run operation and projects

• History in developing programs to develop and improve processes and quality along an omni-channel / digital retail customer journey.

• Ability to document business requirements and qualify and quantify their effects

• Strong analytical skills

• Optional Lean Management Skills

• Fluent in English; other European language is a plus

• Travel up to 25%

• Experience in working in international teams is a plus

• Experience in a mass market environment is a plus

• Practical experience in the Salesforce will be a plus
