The overarching objective of the Delivery Advocate is to assist the wider organisation with 3rd party delivery support of AIA’s Group shared Public Cloud services. The role will ensure all escalated cloud related support requests are responded to in a timely manner with external partners where required.

The role will also work closely with the other supporting external services, such as managed service providers.

The role will act as the owner for delivery escalations with CCoE’s partners and provide a single point of contact to the Business Units.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Work closely with the Group Office and Business Unit technical teams on service escalation activities
• Liaise with the managed service providers and internal delivery teams on service delivery escalations and problems
• Improve operational efficiency via recommendations of process improvement to the Cloud Transition Manager
• Provide weekly escalation reporting to the Associate Director, Cloud Services
• Provide data for input into the monthly governance meetings with AIA’s managed service partners
• Display high-level relationship management skills and be a liaison to the Business Unit in representing CCoE

Experience:

• 5+ years relevant experience in a Service Delivery role
• Excellent understanding in Public Cloud implementation, workload migration and operational support in a multi-site enterprise environment
• Proven experience plus relevant professional certifications in cloud (Azure Fundamentals and/or AWS Foundational or above)
• Proven experience plus relevant professional certification in ITIL practices (ITIL v4 Managing Professional level or above) 
• Practical experience of supporting Enterprise Public Cloud delivery services
• Life insurance experience within a regional or multinational scope will be an advantage
• Experience within a decentralized organization, preferably within the Group unit
• Sound understanding of IT operating model design and best practices
