The overarching objective of the Manager, Cloud Services is to assist the wider team of the operational performance of AIA’s Group shared Public Cloud services. The role will ensure the smooth operation of the Public Cloud services by responding to business unit requests.

The role will also work closely with the Cloud Engineer, Automation to identify new use cases for automation from frequent business unit provisioning or support requests.

Supporting of cloud environments such as Azure (primary location) and AWS, while working with changing priorities from the team and other teams within Group Technology.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Assist in the support of the AIA multi-cloud environment (predominantly Azure but with an AliCloud and AWS footprint)
• Liaise with service providers to ensure that operational processes (backup, patching, provisioning, monitoring) for service follow-up and incident management
• Improve operational efficiency via use-case definition with the Automation Engineer
• Develop automation opportunities via the use of Infrastructure-As-Code tooling
• Support  Group Technical Risk to ensure compliance to all security requirements and standards
• Support of non-standard cloud services that might not be covered in AIA service provider contracts
• Assist with Business Unit onboarding into their chosen cloud environment
