The appointee will be responsible for the planning and execution of marketing communications programmes to enhance the image of the University and to engage the key stakeholders. He/She will be required to:
(a) develop and execute digital/offline marketing and social media strategies to enhance the University’s visibility, convey its unique brand image and positioning;
(b) plan and implement publicity campaigns to reach local and international audience and drive engagement;
(c) explore new marketing initiatives, in particular, video marketing via social media platforms;
(d) coordinate and manage large-scale ceremonies and high-profile events;
(e) plan and manage event marketing tasks; and
(f) support the Office in other aspects of work as assigned.
Requirements
Applicants should (i) have a recognised degree, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Communication Studies, Language Studies or related discipline; (ii) possess at least 10 years of solid experience and track record in corporate communications, branding, digital marketing, event management and marketing, and website management; (iii) have sound knowledge in social media, analytic techniques, trends and best practices across the digital and new media platforms; (iv) be experienced in working with marketing agencies to achieve target-oriented outcomes; (v) have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and (vi) be mature, self-motivated and flexible with a strong sense of responsibility.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.
Salary and Benefits
Commencing salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
