Responsibilities: 

• To assist in developing work and programmes to accomplish the Department objectives, to foster the continuous local community support and facilitating the smooth implementation of various urban renewal initiatives
• To establish liaison network and rapport with all parties affected by the Authority’s redevelopment projects, especially the District Councils, Government Departments, etc. as well as to meet with stakeholders across different segments from the community
• To coordinate and implement proactive effort and initiatives to strength URA’s brand image and relationship with community stakeholders through community programmes
• To work closely with various Divisions as well as Urban Renewal Social Service Teams to address the concerns and aspirations of local stakeholders affected by the Authority’s redevelopment projects

Requirements: 

• Degree holder in public administration, social work or related fields
• Minimum 8 years’ full-time experience in community engagement or district administration
• Work experience related to urban renewal and political parties is an advantage
• Strong sense of social and community development trends
• Fluent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese, knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
• Self-motivated

Remarks:

Appointment will be made on an initial one-year contract term with a possibility of extension to a permanent position.
