Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain policies, methodology and monitoring programme for compliance monitoring
  • Perform compliance risk assessment and formulate the annual compliance review plan
  • Conduct compliance review and monitoring (including branch and unit visit, treasury surveillance, regular review on investment and insurance transactions etc.) across the Bank
  • Identify and advise relevant units on compliance issues and potential impact
  • Assist in reporting issues identified in compliance monitoring, external examination / self-assessment to the management
  • Handle ad-hoc tasks in relation to compliance monitoring


Requirements:

  • University degree in any disciplines, preferably major in Laws, Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum 5 years' hands-on banking compliance or audit experience
  • Sound knowledge in banking products and well versed with the contemporary regulatory requirements e.g. Code of Banking Practice, the Securities & Futures Ordinance, the SFC Code of Conduct etc.
  • Self-motivated, good interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Officer / Officer
