Job Description
- To provide able leadership & Strategic direction to the Customs Brokerage Department, and ensure overall department health, proper staffing, training & development;
- To establish, review, maintain & execute overall procedures and operational processes to meet customers’ global logistics needs;
- To continuously widen the existing client base and increase the Company’s revenues through providing high quality services;
- To monitor the cost structure and direct contact & cooperate frequent with 3rd party to smooth the daily brokerage activity;
- To streamline and develop efficient processes to enhance productivity and effectiveness;
- To set up, maintain, update and improve the general tariff of brokerage fee & door delivery rate;
- To focus on brokerage business development, strategic direction of the department;
- To work closely with Sales, Account Management & Regional customs team to develop brokerage business;
- To stay on top of the latest Custom Regulations and ensure 100% compliance by informing the department, branch & network about the latest regulations and also making necessary adjustments to the process;
- To be the focal point of contact for both internal and external inquiries;
- To take up additional tasks as required to meet the Company’s needs.
Qualifications
- University graduate with minimum 8 years’ industry experience;
- Ability to communicate well with clients, Customs and other government officials, suppliers and employees at all levels;
- Computer and Analytical skills;
- Hands-on user proficiency with Expeditors’ import and export applications and tools;
- Ability to articulate clearly through written and oral presentation;
- English language skills.
