Job Summary:

Manage and facilitate product replenishments and demand forecasting, incorporating various sources (e.g. sales, marketing, logistics, etc.) to support sales and service objectives

Job Responsibilities:

• Support superior in managing day-to-day operating processes to ensure efficient usage of resources, where applicable
• Manage and implement inventory demand strategies, guidelines and processes to ensure inventory is planned at an optimal level to meet target turns
• Review stock performance data, challenge sales forecast where appropriate and make recommendations for optimal inventory turns
• Review purchase orders to maximize service delivery performance, inventory turns, working capital performance and revenue growth
• Manage and enhance inventory planning and forecasting tools or techniques to ensure optimum inventory scheduling and forecasting
• Establish and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to management (e.g. forecast accuracy, inventory plan vs. targets, etc.)
• Make recommended adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market trends
• Manage and monitor cost and efficiency improvements for demand planning to achieve the optimal level of inventory holdings
• Manage communications and relationships with all suppliers and service providers
• Ensure timely submission of purchase orders to clients
• Collaborate with marketing/sales and SCM teams to identify and resolve discrepancies between forward-looking demand forecasts

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher diploma in business, supply chain, demand planning, logistics or related field
• At least 5 years’ experience of which 3 years in a managerial capacity
• Advanced understanding of demand/inventory planning and methodology/tools
• Proven experience in inventory management, procurement systems and logistics operations
• Demonstrate working knowledge on SAP PO system
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Fluency in Chinese and English, both written and spoken
