Job Description
The Manager, Digital Business is leading the production team to deliver successful on-line promotional campaigns, grow website traffic and optimize the conversion rate in all digital channels. This role will have to work closely with all internal and external parties to develop the best fitting solution for HKDL.
This role has strong sales role in managing our contracted partner to continuously develop our digital business in China, which includes Tmall, hkdl.com.cn and all other potential digital platforms.
It requires strong project management experience, business acumen, China exposure, vendor management, conflict resolution and influencing skills. The candidate has to provide insight on local business challenges, digital trends & opportunities, and is accountable for growing and meeting HKDL’s on-line revenue goals.

Responsibilities :
- Develop, own and maintain the long term digital business strategy by integrating multiple guest’s touch points and backend technical platforms through cross team leadership
- Partners closely with the leaders to understand how to adapt and localize global solutions. Provides thought leadership among peers, colleagues, internal Disney partners/leaders, and other team members in order to drive projects forward
- Work closely with China partner to grow Tmall store and other potential digital platforms
- Leverage on segment resource and experience to develop the mobile strategy and solution for HKDL with the consideration of geographical target segments in South East Asia countries and China specifically
- Lead the team to manage digital product development projects and deliver daily content production at the best SLA in meeting with business demands
- Develop website content guideline, content strategy, content approval process in achieving efficiency and consistence across brand websites and all other digital touch points
- Drives direct revenue to HKDL.com by optimizing traffic, conversion, and through up-sell capability to maximize transaction value
Basic Qualifications :
- Bachelor degree holder in Arts or Science or related disciplines
- At least 10 years’ experience with 3 years in project management, e-business and travel with deep knowledge in online technology, systems development life cycle, mobile trend and web usability
- Needs a strong sense of understanding in travel core business, financial returns, value drivers and fiscal management of large-scale complex product lines and projects
- Solid exposure in business development of the South East Asia regions, with a particular focus on the needs of the Mainland Chinese market
- Understand the system development life cycle, business implementation, SEM, SEO and website content management
- Strong project leadership skills, including an ability to communicate effectively at all level
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
