POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manager – ELV is responsible for the management of engineering teams for the effective and efficient operation and maintenance of systems and equipment in the Galaxy Macau Resort and Casino in support of operations in gaming, hotel, food & beverage and administration.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Operation and maintenance of the ELV and BMS systems, equipment and contractors ensuring business continuity and the safety and comfort of our guests and team members are not compromised.
2. Manage and lead the Supervisors and Senior Technicians providing support through team meetings, on job training, succession planning and career development.
3. Develop effective relationships within the Engineering and Facilities team and across the Galaxy Macau Business Units and Service Providers.
4. Initiate the planned preventative maintenance program for the ELV Systems and equipment using O&M Manuals for guidance with routines scheduled through the Computerized Maintenance Management System ensuring compliance with statutory maintenance and testing.
5. To comply with established policies and procedures of Galaxy Macau Resort and Casino.
6. Conduct routine audits, quality assurance inspections, risk assessments maintenance trend analysis and other routine technical management tools to ensure continual improvement of work methods.
7. Active participant in the delivery of Galaxy Macau environmental initiatives providing support and information to the Environmental Task Force for energy management and water saving initiatives.
8. Promote a culture of Workplace Health and Safety through training and effective daily communication with the teams and enforcement of related policy and procedure.
9. Participate in the Engineering Duty Management roster.
10. Member of the Galaxy Macau Engineering Action Group.
11. Maintain accurate records of both maintenance activities and personal performance that includes the establishment of KPI’s and appraisal reviews.
12. Development and continual improvement of Standard Operating and emergency procedures for engineering activities.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Formal qualification in a mechanical or engineering services discipline.
2. Experience in engineering operation and maintenance in a large facility.
3. Knowledge of energy management and Building Management System (BMS) Strategies.
4. Possession of EMSD Electrical Worker Certificate Grade C/H desirable.
5. Team spirit, cooperation and “CAN DO” attitude.
6. Proficient in the Microsoft Suite of Applications.
