This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for effective and efficient project management of building services and E&M works, including overall project planning and monitoring of statutory, safety, quality, construction as well as financial aspects of the relevant works
• Assisting in leading design consultants and construction contractors to ensure that programme and budget requirements are met
• Ensuring that project requirements are incorporated effectively into detailed design, cost, works contract drawings and specifications
• Proactively identifying design and construction interface problems, investigating alternatives with designers and contractors as well as liaising with project stakeholders to produce effective solutions
• Conducting contract administration works including review of contractors' submissions and assess contractor's claims
• Assisting in budget control and expenditure of the works as well as supervising contractors' works

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Electrical & Mechanical or Building Services Engineering or related disciplines with at least 10 years' relevant working experience of which minimum 4 years in project management of Building Services or Electrical & Mechanical Engineering works of major building and infrastructure projects
• Professional qualification in Electrical & Mechanical or Building Services Engineering or related disciplines gained from recognized professional bodies is required
• Solid experience in management of Building Services / Electrical & Mechanical Engineering design and construction works
• Experience in site supervision of airport works or large scale civil facilities' improvement project is an advantage
• Proactive mindset with strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and project management software tools
• Holder of a valid HK driving license (Class 1, 2) is preferred

• Candidate with less experience would be considered for Project Engineer, E&M
