This position is expected to provide a reliable technical environment to support the business, to develop a technical monitoring and continuous improvement program to get the best out of the enormous investment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead and manage a team of in-house technicians and contractors, and close working with overseas machine suppliers
• Supervise the contractors to ensure their timely attendance of all faults, downtime and corrective action follow up
• Develop and deliver an agreeable SLA with and to end users, and to ensure all technical assignments (ad hoc repair, preventive maintenance and annual inspection, etc.) to be completed on time
• Tackle problems encountered during production and provide modifications to enhance productivity, cost effectiveness and operations performances
• Establish proper system for repair & maintenance record, produce relevant managerial reports
• Ensure repair work under the corporate and regulatory standard on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Productivity by implementing control program
• Support the Head of Department to manage the Maintenance Quality Program, KPI measurement and monitoring, and other analytical work/assignments
• Optimize the equipment performance by analyzing system faults, proposing and carrying out enhancement works
• Perform 24 hours standby to ensure well communication with colleagues, smooth real time operation and maintenance, attending emergency and reporting duty during off-duty and typhoon as required
• Set up contingency plans, emergency procedures and drills for related equipment in case of unforeseen event happened

Requirement:  

• Degree holder or above, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
• Over 10 years related experience, of which 3 years at managerial level
• Preferable to be certified in boiler license, confined spaces operations
• Solid experience in mechanical design related to production machine, facilities, preferably in Smart Factory set up
• Attentive to details, strong problem-solving and analytic skills
• Strong coaching, influencing and communication skills
• Excellence in Microsoft Office and Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and 3D software
• Sound experience in application of various improvement tools like 5S, Lean, visual management, 6 Sigma etc will be preferable but not essential
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
