Responsibilities:
- Key support to Senior Manager (External Relations) in the planning and implementation of the Education and Extension Programme (E&E) and the corporate/community programmes including oUR Amazing Kid Band and the Arts and Cultural Partnership Programme in Old Urban Districts: Pilot Scheme (ACPP) and other URA’s art initiatives / events in the URA’s project sites with the objectives to enhance public understanding of the URA’s work and enhance the URA’s positive image of creating quality living for residents living in the old urban area
- To manage different partners to ensure the smooth operations of the Authority’s community band, oUR Amazing Kid Band, including the arrangement of music training classes, performances and networking activities as well as promoting Kid Band to the public
- To process the applications of Arts and Cultural Partnership Programme and coordinate with the concerned art / cultural organisations and non-profit making organisations to ensure the application aligns with the corporate objectives
- To assist in the development of an annual plan and implementation of the education and extension partnership programmes based on the Authority’s mission in public education
- To plan and implement ad hoc PR / marketing programmes for individual URA project
Requirements:
- Degree holder in communication related subject, preferably in corporate communication
- Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in project management, public relations or corporate communications, of which 5 years should be in managerial role
- Strong network with education institutes / non-governmental organisations / non-profit organisations / artists / art groups
- Good knowledge and experience in education programmes, art administration, art / cultural facilities and its programmes
- Proven track record in supervising consultants and suppliers to ensure the highest standard of performance can be delivered
- Experience in managing charity foundation preferred
- Good language skills in both English and Chinese, including Putonghua
- Knowledge in social media will be an advantage
