Responsibilities:
- To manage the operation of URA’s hotline service to ensure all public enquiries, requests and complaints are handled in accordance with the URA’s performance pledges, with efficiency and of a high standard
- To handle media enquiries efficiently and effectively to promulgate the URA’s policies and activities while protecting URA’s corporate image
- To draft press releases, statements, line-to-take, QA, factsheets and background briefs to promote and foster media understanding
- To research and develop feature stories to promote the URA’s good initiatives and work
- To serve as an editorial writer (major in Chinese) to draft blogs, feature stories, script that convey URA’s message in a position manner
Requirements:
- Degree holder, preferably in Communication or related disciplines
- At least 8 years’ relevant experience with track record in PR / marketing programme / media organisations, with at least 5 years in supervisory role
- Experience in editorial and content provision, customer relations and handling of public enquiries / complaints
- Hands-on experience in production of PR / publicity literature
- Good verbal & written communication skills in English & Chinese
- Preferably with good knowledge of urban renewal and housing issues of Hong Kong
