Job Description
Your tasks and responsibilities
- Leads a team of process integration engineers dedicated to supplier management distributed worldwide
- Responsible for all external VCSEL manufacturing sites (foundries) and EPI/GaAs processing suppliers
- Monitors the overall performance of world-wide foundry suppliers with regards to production and technology development (Analyzes production processes, identifies areas for improvement & sets up / reviews relevant process KPIs)
- On-site supervision of process technologies in close teamwork with Process R&D, Product Engineering & Supplier Quality Engineering
- Co-works with various engineering departments and Product & Process Reliability Team regarding qualification of new devices, technologies and changes in the process flows
- Leads & manages task forces and coordinates issues at suppliers and internal ams site
- Performs process and quality audits following TS16949 and VDA 6.3 standards
- Prepares and attends customer audits at supplier sites
- Manages disposition of critical material at suppliers
- Drives continuous improvement programs to establish predictable and reliable manufacturing capabilities at the suppliers
- Ensures that products and services are fit for purpose and meet both external & internal requirements and customer expectations
Your education and experiences
- ~10 years experience in semiconductor or VCSEL frontend production
- 2+ years Supplier management experience
- Technical Degree (Master or equivalent) in physics, chemistry or electrical engineering
- Excellent Communication Skills in English and Mandarin and good appearance in front of suppliers and customers
- High self-organization skills and strong team placer
- Willingness to travel and work in an international team
- Strong problem solving skillls
- Quality management know-how beneficial
- Experience in physical failure analysis, electron microscopy, test of semiconductor devices beneficial
- Experience in Yield Enhancement & Process Integration beneficial
- Experience with GaAs epitaxy products beneficial for role
- Experience with opto-semiconductors beneficial for role
