Job Description

Reporting to the Head, Facility Services (Workplace), you will be responsible for:

  • supervising the overall workplace facilities related function of the Authority;
  • managing third-party contractors/vendors engaged in operating and maintaining properties;
  • coordinating the workplace health and safety with the implementation of guidelines and procedures in compliance with relevant statutory requirements;
  • managing, directing and supporting daily operations of workplace services including but not limited to reception of the Authority’s headquarter building, mail/ post service, pantry/ cleaning service, internal landscaping, recycling etc.;
  • managing custody of white goods, office equipment and assets;
  • contract management of all services engaged for the operations including tendering, performance management;
  • ensuring the workplace service is compliant to the Authority’s policies and government’s regulations
  • performing workplace research and analysis, and preparing reports and presentations for management decision;
  • preparing, evaluating and reviewing SOP to ensure best practices to be adopted;
  • coordinating with stakeholders on SLA, operations practices; and
  • collaborating with cross-functional partners such as HR, IT, District Security for workplace emergency, pandemic control and business continuity. 

 

You should: 

  • possess a recognised university degree in Property/ Facilities/ Business Administration or equivalent;
  • have at least 10 years of solid experience in general office administration, preferably gained in a sizable organisation or the public sector;
  • be well organised with meticulous attention to detail and multitask;
  • possess excellent client-facing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with people at all levels of the organisation; and
  • be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
