What is the opportunity?

As the Manager, Finance Change Management, you will provide project management services and business analysis support to Asia-Pacific business and regulatory initiatives sponsored by the RBC Capital Markets, Investor & Treasury Services and Wealth Management Asia businesses platforms.

What will you do?

• Independently manage small-medium business and regulatory change initiatives to completion, using standard project management techniques.
• Provide project coordination support to other Project Managers within the team as required.
• Work with stakeholders to develop plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements, continuously improving the level of detail and accuracy of estimates.
• Manage the documentation of project risks, assumptions, dependencies and constraints.
• Drive delivery of project activity by facilitating workshops and working group meetings with stakeholders, and by ensuring meetings and outcomes are sufficiently documented using RAID or equivalent logs.
• Document project status accurately to ensure key stakeholders are informed of progress effectively.
• Manage project communications including status reports to executives, stakeholders, business units, vendors, project team, etc. and owns the governance model and delivery framework (including timely updates on project risk and issues).
• Facilitate collaborative sessions with small to medium numbers of business stakeholders to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review.
• Conduct coverage analysis to maintain the relationship between scope, detailed requirements, testing through to implementation
• Support technology SMEs in the development of Functional and User Acceptance test cases, and ensure the test case universe validates the agreed business scope.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Degree educated
• Project Management and/or Business Analyst certification (CBAP, PMP, Prince2)
• Exposure to and understanding of financial services regulations across different jurisdictions in Asia-Pacific
• Experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably with exposure to Capital Markets, Private Wealth & Brokerage and Investor Services products, systems & services
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Excellent MS Excel, PowerPoint and Project skills
• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
• Strong commercial acumen, knowledge and understanding of Wholesale and Retail banking processes
• Strong functional knowledge/ experience of Finance processes and controls
• Proven experience in delivering data and process change across Finance processes

Nice-to-have

• End User Computing (EUC) knowledge especially ability to create MS Excel Macros / MS Access.
• Finance Change Management experience – Strong functional knowledge and understanding of Finance data, processes, controls and the front to back infrastructure that supports them.
