Siemens Healthineers India LLP has set up an APAC Tax Hub- a Center of Excellence (COE) at Bengaluru with objective to handle tax compliances (direct and indirect taxes) of 12 countries in region including India The present position is essentially to handle the work essentially in direct taxes area- compliances including preparation of Tax Provision/Deferred tax working, audit, scrutiny, assessment, driving/working on digitalization project for entities in APAC region. Business Title : Manager Finance Internal Title : Tax Professional Location : Bengaluru Key Responsibilities Operational Responsibilities: Assisting in finalization of periodic (quarterly/yearly) Current Tax Provision/ Deferred Tax workings with statutory auditors and contingent liability Computation / Preparation of Quarterly/ Annual Income Tax Return Calculation of Advance tax payable Calculation/ Review of Tax deducted at source or Tax collected at source including deduction of tax on services procured from foreign suppliers Assist in the transaction structuring from a direct tax perspective in a merger /acquisition deal Collation of data for tax audits, assisting in finalization of tax audit report, providing information/clarification for audits applicable under other Laws. Assist in handling of audit/assessment by Tax authorities including coordination with external providers and in developing audit defense and conduct of audit Assistance in preparing reply to the notice received from tax authorities including representation before tax authorities for scrutiny assessment / rectification Collation and maintenance of documents, working paper, working file for various tax concession and claim across direct taxes including appropriate storage and archival of such record Automation/Transformation Expertise: Working knowledge of the standard functionality of SAP – Scrutiny of transaction (sales, purchase, FI, JVE etc.) and usage of reports available within SAP domain. Data analytics and big data management skills Have worked in digitalization project in the area of taxation and thus in a position to contribute ideas for digitalization of processes and able to contribute to such project within the Organization Creating and finding new ways to transform manual work into and automated process Qualifications and Business Competencies CA/ICWA with 1-2 years of experience in the field of Corporate direct tax compliance/ reporting/tax digitalization (direct & indirect taxes) Have worked in a centralized environment of tax compliance and advisory Strong drive to excel and other analytical tools Organization: Siemens Healthineers Company: Siemens Healthcare Private Limited Experience Level: Experienced Professional Full / Part time: Full-time
