The Job

• To oversee financial control operations, such as receipts and payments, budget planning and monitoring, risk management and the related liaison with internal parties;
• To lead a team of accounting staff to manage the financial operation and its related reporting
• To oversee the procurement functions including the implementation of procurement policies and procedures, ensuring the procurement practice in various divisions and departments be consistent and compliant with the related policies;
• To develop and maintain financial models for the long-term financial planning and its implementation;
• To produce various statistical and management reports on finance matters;
• To supervise and manage staff in performing their duties; and
• To perform other duties as assigned.

The Person

• A recognized degree in Accountancy or equivalent;
• A qualified membership of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, or equivalent;
• At least eight years of relevant experience in financial control, financial planning, financial management, financial reporting, auditing and financial analysis, preferably gained from sizeable organizations;
• Experience in auditing gained from sizable audit firms will be an advantage;
• Experience in fully automated accounting system – SunAccount;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and
• Mature, detail-minded and able to work independently and under pressure.

Remuneration Package

A competitive remuneration and benefits package including a discretionary performance-linked variable pay, annual leave, medical, dental and life insurance coverage, and MPF will be offered. All new appointments will be made on a two-year fixed-term contract initially prior to consideration for appointment on a non-fixed-term basis.
