The Job

• To assist in developing plans, budgets and forecasts, and perform financial analysis for the control of operations;
• To review and implement control measures, accounting policies, systems and controls;
• To prepare financial statements for internal and external uses;
• To maintain financial information system and applications;
• To assist in preparing paper on financial results and procurement matters;
• To assist in the financial, accounting and budgetary functions for the eMPF Platform project;
• To prepare financial analysis and reports for the eMPF Platform project; and
• To perform other duties as assigned.

The Person

• A recognized degree in Accountancy or equivalent;
• A qualified membership of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, or equivalent;
• Eight years of relevant experience in financial control, financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, financial management, financial reporting, auditing and financial analysis, preferably gained from sizeable or public organizations;
• Experience in procurement, particularly on the implementation and compliance monitoring in respect of procurement policies as well as market practice, will be an advantage;
• Experience in fully automated accounting system – SunAccount is a preference;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and
• Mature, detail-minded and able to work independently and under pressure.

Remuneration Package

We offer a competitive salary commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and relevant experience. The appointment will be made initially on a 9-month fixed-term contract.
