To manage operations for the Facilities Department. Review all projects and bids to assertion the legal or guest service impact on the property. Twenty four hour call in to coordinate emergency actions (fire, power outages, floods). Maintain all operating permits required for facility operation

Work with all departments in project coordination to minimize disruption. Coordinate set up and schedule all associated permits, power, and communications for all entertainment venues. Manage all team member relation’s issues and administer progressive discipline in accordance with Venetian guidelines

Review and approve all purchase requests flex forms and payroll. Manages assigned operational functions within the department consistent with the strategic plan and vision for the department, the division and V.M.R.H. Manages the delivery and measurement of guest service within assigned department(s) consistent with the company’s core service standards and brand attributes. Manages Human Resources responsibilities for assigned department(s) to include: creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training and succession planning processes that encompass the company’s diversity commitment; adherence to the company’s status quo third party representation philosophy; compliance with company policies, legal requirements and collective bargaining agreements

Must be able to frequently move freely about the office, maintain manual dexterity to access computer via computer keyboard and operate office equipment, such as telephones, copiers, fax machine, etc., Withstand various activities such as frequent walking, sitting for long periods and withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction. Be able to work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to CRT fatigue, noise, dust, cigarette smoke, and be able to access all areas of the property

Have an intimate knowledge of all major systems their operation and potential weaknesses. Enforce all safety programs and training. Find new and innovative solutions to challenges

Provides input into the research, development, evaluation and implementation of new products, services, technology and processes to ensure VCR’s competitive position and in anticipation of changing customer needs within the dynamic hospitality and gaming environment

Liaise with FSD for the fire prevention related issue in the premises and make sure all the activities fullfil the local code, NFPA and IBC requirements

Lead a team of supervisors and technicians to deliver quality fire protection facilities for the complex, routine maintenance and urgent repair works in accordance with sound engineering practices and fire safety regulations. Ensure all records of maintenance and testing are kept

To look after the fire and safety areas within the complex, perform regular tests and routine maintenance of all fire equipment / system for normal operation, providing fire and safety training to Team Members

Conduct regular fire drills for Team Members. Develop a system of Fire Wardens to assist with emergency evacuation. Provide fire safety training for Team Members. Develop and maintain Emergency Procedure Manuals. Develop Emergency Evacuation Procedures including fire, typhoon, etc

Coordinate and supervise the planned maintenance activities carried out by the F.S. contractor and in-house technicians for fire equipment/system in compliance with local statutory requirements

Bachelor Degree in Engineering

Formal training in fire fighting and safety is preferred

5 or more years’ experience in related area, 3 – 4 years’ experience in Managerial Level

Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position in a 5* hotel

Familiar with relevant government regulations and trade practices

Strong leadership skills and a team player

Good communications and report write-up skills

Fluent in English and Cantonese, Good in Mandarin
