Eaton’s ES-Americas, Canada Division is currently seeking a Manager, Fleet Services, Communication & Buyer to join our team. This position will be based at our Burlington, Ontario facility. Position Overview: The Manager, Fleet Services, Communication and Buyer is responsible for to provide functional and financial service support for a number of facility and indirect supply chain activities for all Eaton Divisions in Canada in a multi-ledger, multi legal entity environment. These services include management of various programs including facilities, fleet, mobile communications, travel, office equipment, office supplies, Workers Compensation, and other Professional Services and Indirect Supply Chain programs. In this role, you will manage: Fleet: Develop Fleet Selector program for Canada and establish a Canadian Fleet policy consistent with Eaton USA policy. Provide direction to Eaton Fleet Management company (ARI) regarding fleet policy and approval parameters for maintenance and fuel purchases. Coordinate re-assignment of vehicles. Implement Eaton initiatives regarding greening the fleet and movement to Electric Vehicles. Implement Eaton initiatives regarding fleet health & safety, and the use of telematics, and also ensure insurance renewals, toll payments and traffic violations are managed. Process and manage all aspects of vehicle payments, divestiture, taxable benefits and other operational issues, including communications and coordination with Eaton Finance and third-party vendors. Mobile Communications: Manage all aspects of the mobile communications program, including RFQs, roaming plans, and employee support. Buyer: Responsible to manage the supplier base and programs for indirect & direct procurement. Implement Eaton travel initiatives in Canada including managing preferred vendors, invoicing, and general employee issues. Manage national procurement and vendor relationships for office equipment, phone technology and alarm systems. Authorize leasing of mobile factory equipment, office furniture, and manage the office supply and records programs. The work environment is predominantly office-based, however travel maybe needed in order to gain a full understanding of the business. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Diploma or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a Supply Chain / Business focus. Minimum five years of work experience in a Supply Chain or business environment. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take independent initiative when the need arises. Position Criteria: Ability to work with others in remote locations required – effective communication across distance. Ability to build relationships, both internally and externally. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills along with strong problem-solving abilities. The ability to work effectively in a team/matrix environment leveraging task prioritization and time management skills. Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information. Why Eaton?
