Are you data-focused and enjoy using your creativity to build forecasts to meet the overall strategic direction?

Supporting the needs of the Commercial, Supply and Financial arms for your assigned Therapeutic Area (TA), you will merge therapeutic area knowledge with pharmaceutical market factors to identify key assumptions that will build the forecasts. You will bring technical acuity to the role, with the ability to quickly utilize both industry standard tools and specialized forecasting tools. In this role, you will also be responsible for maintaining forecast scenarios and for supporting the commercial unit for Monthly Business Reviews (MBR).

Your responsibilities include:

  • Work positively with key internal teams to develop assumptions for each forecasting cycle

  • Craft ambitious specialty care forecasts using a deep understanding of the patient flow for each asset

  • Use new insights and data to be able to tell the brand story on patient and revenue ambition for assigned brands

  • Identify risks and opportunities using scenario planning and sensitivity analysis

  • Provide reporting and support for the Commercial, Pricing and Finance teams

Monthly Business Review (MBR)

  • Lead monthly meetings with TA colleagues to flag revised assumptions and improve supply chain forecasts

  • Participate in MBR process to support TA for the latest estimate using revised forecast assumptions and tracking performance to plan

  • Provide rationale for gaps between value (budget) and volume (supply) forecasts

Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Health Economics or related field

  • Minimum of 3 years in pharmaceutical industry including experience in related functional area

  • You have strong communication skills: writing and presentation and you are people focused in discussions

  • You lead and influence without authority and challenge others using new insights and data

  • Your analytical skills in forecasting, financial modelling, business impact analysis and database management are very strong

  • You act quickly, constantly prioritizing your work to meet business needs
