Manager, Global FP&A is a key role within Allergan Aesthetics global finance organization. The job holder will support the Associate Director, Global FP&A, Assistant Controller and VP Finance. The primary objective of this position is to provide financial leadership for two enterprise critical processes: LRP planning process and Plan process for AA global business. The position will be responsible for providing financial analysis, recommendations and decision-making support. This position is responsible for developing and implementing processes and procedures to facilitate accurate and timely consolidations of the LRP and the Plan. In addition, this position is responsible for implementing and managing Power BI as a reporting tool for AA Finance as a whole. The role is based in Allergan Aesthetics global HQ in Irvine, CA. The main responsibilities of this role: Responsible for implementing and managing efficient and effective Financial Planning process -- Lead the LRP process for AA Global, coordinates inputs and outputs from US, OUS finance teams, and GCD teams. Ensures accurate and timely integration of regions’ submissions, GCD inputs and updates, and senior financial management level inputs to meet overall division/corporate calendar deadlines Spend a significant time directly interfacing with senior leadership within AA organization in shaping LRP and Plan deliverables, providing analysis to validate and crystalize business trends by region and at global, making recommendations on changes needed to meet corporate expectations. To effectively manage the LRP and the Plan process, the role also serves as a focal point in collaboration with cross functional teams such as GCD, R&D, BTS. This is also the role that owns communication with corporate teams. Build team capability – provide coaching and training to direct reports as well as other members of the team. Bring team to meet AbbVie FP&A requirement in both speed and quality. Responsible for implementing Power BI for AA Finance globally. Power BI is an important initiative under Lighthouse 2.0. This role is in charge of the development of such tool initially, deployment of the tool to selected areas of the AA organization, and eventually to all that’s applicable. After the implementation this role will be the owner of Power BI tool for AA Finance Globally. Lead continuous improvement of Global FP&A process improvement, develop tools that automates and simplify FP&A processes within AA Finance. Ad Hoc analysis/reporting/growth projects Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree. Broad experience within financial reporting and analysis Expertise in financial systems (financial planning system (Long View / BPC, SAP) and knowledge of dashboarding tools such as Power BI is a definite plus Essential Skills, Experience, and Competencies: Ability to think broadly and lead processes independently Ability to challenge the status quo through innovation and Bold thinking. In-depth understanding of financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow) & core finance/accounting concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-starter capable of working in a deadline-oriented environment. Ability to recognize key issues and effectively communicate those to management. Good interpersonal skills, including the ability and desire to communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with others throughout the business and finance organizations.
