This exciting role offers opportunity to: The purpose of this position is to bring rigor in the cost out process for Direct Procurement in overall Supply Chain and establish a governance process which will enable the overall SCM teams. The position will be reporting the Procurement & Engineering Lead in COE and functionally to Governance Process Lead in GPO and will be working closely to drive improvements on cost out for Eaton, setting up the right rigor and focus in this direction, Will be responsible to establish process and cadence to improve execution working with teams globally. Collaborate with other teams such as GPO, business teams, CoE , Finance organization. 1. Review Overall 1000+ project in GPS and drive measures around effective usage of process and rigor 2- Develop a deep understanding of category and business cost drivers to promote a meaningful debate and challenge of forecasts and actual performance 3- Proactively identify gaps in the projects which contribute to cost out and highlight open gaps if any working with teams, define clear actions and ownership. 4- enable the process through working with cross functional team on weekly/monthly/quarterly basis to to get to the overall results in 2023 and ahead. 5- systematically identify and manage risks and opportunities to current year and next year cost out bring insights to enable a dialogue between business and functions to overall achieve the right metrics and cost out for Eaton 6- Build Strong relationships across cross functional teams to drive performance and create a culture of governance Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Engineering, with project management knowledge is preferred Minimum 12-15 years’ of experience working with cross funcitonal teams in procurement, materials, finance, etc.. Category Knowledge desired in one of more of these categories Castings, forgings, electrical and electronics - Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from associates to the leadership - Ability to communicate clearly & effectively in person , via e-mail and over phone - Proficient in the development and tracking of internal metrics - Strong project and time management, organizational, and analytical skills. - Quick response to deadlines We make what matters work.
