Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop health & safety plans, associated procedures and guidelines for sites
- Ensure compliance with statutory, contractual and company health & safety requirements
- Plan, implement, supervise and monitor the health and safety programmes and performance
- Conduct regular health & safety audits and inspections for office and sites to identify areas of improvement, develop and implement appropriate actions according to the required standards
- Handle incidents and investigations, provide recommendations for improvement and determine the root causes
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate potential risks
- Provide specialized advice and technical support in health & safety functions
- Provide health & safety related trainings
- Keep up to date with relevant health & safety related work legislations and communicate the changes
- Occasional business travel is required
Qualifications & Experience required:
- Degree in Engineering, Health & Safety Management or equivalent
- At least 10 years of experience in safety inspection / auditing for construction & building projects under construction industry
- Membership of relevant professional institution such as Registered Safety Officer (RSO) or Registered Safety Auditor (RSA) of Labour Department
- Familiar with safety regulations and ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001 audits
- Proficient in PC skills including MS Office and SharePoint
- Self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure
- Good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
