Job Description

We are searching for a Manager of our Sales Compensation platform who is well versed and comfortable spanning the full development lifecycle, planning and aligning on our strategic roadmap, and managing the day to day operations of the platform. You are the type of person that welcomes the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment and working closely with our business partners to create high impacting solutions.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage the ICM (Incentive Compensation Management) application including solution design
  • Understand the business context and how to translate business and functional requirements into a sustainable implementation
  • Provide insight and expertise into the platform capabilities and vendor product roadmap
  • Oversee and lead the review of all business process and system level changes as part of continual delivery improvement
  • Provide design perspectives to the process teams to maintain consistency, stability and supportability of the solution and processes
  • Stay current on the vendor's solution capabilities and product roadmap and maintain the organizational roadmap for the solution
  • Manage IT staffing, including recruitment, supervision, development and evaluation


How You Will Get Here:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of technology implementation
  • Prior managerial/supervisory experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in information systems, systems engineering, or related technical fields is required
  • Experience in managing distributed applications in multiple technologies and products that can include but not limited to:
    • ICM (Varicent)
    • Java
    • SQL Server
    • Mainframe
    • Informatica
  • System implementation experience required, including development, implementation, and maintenance of integrated systems
  • Proficient in all phases of the Application Development Lifecycle
  • Strong technical project management and / or leadership skills
  • Is authentic, transparent and leads by example, holding self and others accountable, inspires, motivates and collaborates with others
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
  • A highly motivated fast learner who can self-start and “figure out what needs figuring out”
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
