Manager, In-Room Dining & Minibar

What you will be doing:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Lead and coach the In-Room Dining, Minibar, and Pool Deck teams
- Manage the day-to-day operations
- Daily tasks to include but not limited to: effective scheduling, planning, forecasting, ordering
- Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Recruit and monitor the performance of team members
- Work with other F&B leaders to ensure smooth operations
- Assist team members in day-to-day tasks
- Monitor and audit service standards
- Flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
- Have full knowledge of beverage lists, promotions, menu items, contents, and preparation methods
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages
- Adhere to payment and cash handling procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Your experience and skills include:
- College Degree, preferably in hospitality or equivalent vocational training certificate
- Previous leadership and Food Service industry experience required
- Previous point of sale system experience
- Previous experience in luxury setting an asset
- Knowledge of F&B cost controls
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Food handler & TABC certifications required
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to:
- Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas
- Reach 1-2 feet
- Remain in stationary position for up to 2 hours throughout work shift
- Constant standing and walking
- Exert physical effort in carrying items (up to 40 lbs) and pushing carts (30-50 lbs)
- Frequent lifting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining work authorization documents.
