1.      To provide advice & support to all departments regarding the purchase of computer software, hardware and the related peripherals in conformity with IS/Corporate standards and tailor made software/system for continuous improvement.

2.      To identify automation process or design other IT tools for increasing the branch’s productivity and securing customers’ satisfaction.

3.      To liaise with computer vendors on the purchase of computer hardware and software in accordance with Corporate standards and oversee the assets management & maintenance.

4.      To work with Regional Business Systems Support regarding the implementation of regional policies and procedures in related to IS issues.

5.      To conduct regular IS audits and ensure full compliance with CHQ Operational Process Standard related to IS practices.

6.      To setup a proper contingency plan for the systems and support branch disaster recovery.

7.      To assist with system relocation due to office removal or office expansion.

8.      To deliver IS training courses at branch level for enhancing the users’ understandings on the Expeditors’ systems and computer software.

9.      To coordinate with Sales and Account Management staff in technical supports to customers, e.g. EDI support, technical assistance on Expeditors operational systems, etc

10.   To take up additional tasks as required to meet the Company’s needs and development.

• Degree in Computer Science.  
• Over 8 years relevant experience which 5 years must be in managerial position. 
• Working experience with NT, LAN & WAN, Sharepoint and knowledge in Unix is advantageous. 
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
