Requirements

  • University graduate in technology or business related disciplines
  • Minimum 15 year related working experiences
  • Strong technical knowledge in all IT Infrastructure, including:
    (a) Technical knowledge and hands on experience of Microsoft Exchange 2013, Symantec Enterprise Vault, Office 365, SAN, structured cabling, Data Centre Operations, virtualization technology including VMWare, Hyper-V, VDI, Nutanix HCI and Aruba Wi-Fi Network
    (b) Hands on and project experience in cloud infrastructure setup and migration, such as Office 365 and AWS IaaS
    (c) Hands on experience in Oracle Linux and technical knowledge of Oracle database an advantage
    (d) Hands on experience in providing technical support of MS SQL database environments/applications, including software installation, database creation, upgrades, patches, problem diagnosis, performance monitoring, database maintenance, process automation, evaluation, and tuning
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills with strong self-motivation
  • Proven ability to coach team members
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese, both written and verbal
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight work schedule

Responsibilities

  • Lead a small team to provide technical support on corporate IT Infrastructure with emphasis on internal network, servers, email and cloud infrastructure
  • Lead a small team to deliver end user computing related projects, including an IT training portal, and support other new business initiatives
  • Work with Security team, plan, set up and lead the IT Infrastructure and End-user Technology strategy including disaster recovery planning
  • Develop and maintain formal guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure that operation of network infrastructure and End User Computing meets service level agreement
  • Research on new technology, identify technology gaps, develop and deploy Infrastructure solutions
  • Drive the continuous improvement to all IT Infrastructure related services
  • Coach and mentor team members
