Job Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for internal day-to-day IT operations (batching, computer operations) and IT support; manages a group of IT specialists to deliver services in the most cost-effective and efficient manner.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the regional IT team in providing support as primary contact for telephony, desktop software and hardware, storage, security and network related issues;
  • Take strategic direction from the global IT management to support your local leadership of the Asia region;
  • Functioning as the Lead Architect for the region, you will be responsible for managing EUC support, MNS and DC management;
  • Responsible for the provision, delivery and support of infrastructure, applications and network services to all users;
  • Maintain strong partnerships with IT services providers through effective management of service levels;
  • Act as a key member of the global IT Operations team, acting as the Asian lead for international projects and ensuring QCT is achieved and implemented on-time and on cost;
  • You will be required to provide support for locations and projects outside of Asia;
  • Perform ad-hoc project as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • University Degree holder in Information Technology / Computer Science or professional IT qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity, with demonstrated IT management experience.
  • Microsoft certified technology specialist with extensive experience supporting and managing Microsoft Windows Server Platform, Active Directory, Office 365 and SharePoint.
  • Excellent working knowledge of VMWare, virtualization platform and SAN environment.
  • Experience supporting conferencing system and Avaya VoIP equipment systems.
  • Qualified in or Participant of either PMP, Agile or ITIL are preferred.
  • Experience on multi-sites operation is an advantage.
  • Strong people management, leadership and communication abilities.
  • High proficiency managing and supporting SonicWALL firewall, VPN, enterprise wireless and MPLS environment.
  • Knowledge in SAP BI and SAP ERP is an advantage.
  • With strong support skills and willingness to be proactive at recommending and implementing improvements to increase reliability, security and performance of the network infrastructure.
  • Strong technical and project management skills.
  • Proven vendor management abilities.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills (English) and good organizational and analytical skills.
  • Capable to work under pressure & attend off hours meeting.
  • Must be willing to travel overseas occasionally.
