Manager Insights Business Operations EMEAP (m/f/d)

Her/His focus will be FreeStyle Libre, a breakthrough technology of Flash Glucose Monitoring in the Diabetes Healthcare market. Freestyle Libre is directly available for clients/patients on our web-shops and in different reimbursement distributions channels such as pharmacies. Patients pay for it themselves or they are reimbursement by healthcare authorities.

This a critical role reporting to the Business Operations Director EMEAP. The role is located in Wiesbaden (Frankfurt area) within the EMEAP Business Operations Team.

In essence the role is: To connect data from multiple sources, read and interpret them in order to generate senseful insights for commercial decisions. You are the right candidate when:

Main Responsibilities

• Work as a crucial part of the ADC EMEA Business Operations team and drive insights and innovation by analyzing data, prototyping solutions, and establishing steering metrics.
• Conduct data analyses and deep dives using complex data around E-commerce, CX, SCM,; derive results, key outcomes and learnings. Use these findings to make commercially feasible recommendations.
• Present insights and recommendations to key decision makers in EMEA HQ, across different countries and globally
• Apply statistical methods to interpret data, paying special attention to patterns such as trends, irregularities etc.
• Develop statistical models and algorithms for commercial use cases. Optimize existing data products.
• Monitor and improve reporting for existing projects. Evangelize utilizing continuous and automated reporting across the organization.
• Collaborate closely between Marketing, IT, Commercial Excellence,  external technology partners and BPO partners
• Supervise, guide and work with external suppliers on corresponding data projects.
• Work as an SME on data related infrastructure projects.
• Identify, evaluate, and curate best technological practices on global scale.
• Ensure highest data quality across the data sources. Find, analyze, document data quality problems. Conduct data cataloging and act as a data governance leader.
• Liaise with central and local stakeholders to agree on upcoming plans and document requirements to drive needed growth.
• Support the team with ad-hoc reports and on other critical topics.

Your Profile

• BS in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field.
• Have 10+ years relevant experience on data projects.
• Proven experience of working with complex large data objects.
• Excellent SQL skills and know-how on reporting tools such as PowerBI, SAP BI. 
• Excellent coding skills on Python. 
• Good understanding of AWS tools such as Athena, Sagemaker, Comprehend.
• Experience in project management; strong ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; detail and goal-oriented.
• Experience in a business facing and/or project manager role where creative thinking, persuasive communication and continued reinforcement of key concepts was critical to success.
• Strong business acumen & friendly resilience
• Ability to work self-organized but coherent with the team.
• Good understanding of data pipelines such as data transfer methods, API documentation.
• Exposure to project delivery methodologies in an agile environment such as Scrum.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English). Second EU language is a plus
• Advanced degrees in relevant fields considered an advantage.
• Previous experience with NLP projects considered an advantage
• Travel up to 10%
