What you will do

This is a great opportunity for someone with Patient Safety or Quality Assurance experience to develop leadership and people management skills. Are you eager to support this new initiative that will transform the way Amgen treats the safety of our combination products? As Manager in the Integrated Triage team, you will be part of the Global Patient Safety organization and support the Senior Manager with overseeing the team for global triage of Product Complaints and co-reported, Adverse Events and Other Safety Findings.

The team is responsible for initial data entry (book-in), gathering crucial information, and determining if further investigation is needed. To manage this process optimally, the team collaborates closely with other departments in the safety and quality organization. Furthermore, the team will analyze information received from the market to drive continuous improvement.

  • Mentor and coach the team in day-to-day activities and personal development.
  • Help to build the new structure, identify improvement opportunities and contribute to the implementation of new intake-related systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Coordinate triage process and support the team to determine if product complaint records require escalation for further investigation.
  • Conduct vendor oversight of all case intake and processing activities and case quality including analysis and reporting of trends in quality measures.

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in related fields (Life Sciences, Patient Safety, Biology, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory or similar).
  • Experience in Pharmacovigilance, Quality Assurance, Complaint handling, or Patient Safety.
  • Ability to lead teams in projects and/or daily operations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to set priorities and coordinate the workload effectively.
