The appointee will administer research grants with duties including coordinating proposals review and monitoring submission to funding agencies; liaising with sponsors; organizing workshops/seminars; analyzing research data, and compiling reports. He/She will provide executive support to committees/task forces; work closely with relevant offices in developing research-related systems; supervise staff in execution of work, and take up ad hoc projects as assigned. Experience in handling research grants and related matters is preferable.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in research administration and grant management in tertiary institutions. The ideal candidate should have good organization and communication skills; a strong sense of responsibility, and self-motivated. He/She should be meticulous; detail-minded; multi-task oriented, and able to work independently in a dynamic working environment. A good command of spoken and written English and Chinese is required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
