The Center for Education Innovation is looking for an experienced and high caliber individual to lead and manage a full range of administrative functions in the Center and provide support to facilitate smooth implementation of its programs and new initiatives.
The appointee will lead the Administration Team and play a leading role in the following areas:
- Contribute to the planning and development of the Center’s programs and initiatives, and solicit support from various teams/units within and outside the Center to facilitate the smooth operation;
- Assist the Director and Associate Director in the annual budgeting process, overseeing budget expenditure and income disbursements, and advising the deployment of resources to drive the Center’s programs and initiatives;
- Lead and drive the efficiency of a full range of administrative processes and operations in the Center, such as procurement, personnel management, managing administrative records and data, organizing events and activities, etc.;
- Provide secretariat support to various committees and meetings; and
- Supervise clerical staff in providing effective office operation.
Apart from the above, the appointee is expected to provide support in the administrative work of other teams and perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Center Director and Associate Director from time to time.
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree plus at least 7-10 years of solid administrative experience, preferably in tertiary institutions. They should be highly proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel. Good IT knowledge is highly desirable. Numerical accuracy and attention to details are necessary. They should be able to think critically and analytically, and take initiative to implement projects effectively. Strong leadership, problem solving and communication skills, a proven track record of working effectively with diverse groups of people, and high proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese are essential. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
