As a QSE (Quality System Engineering) Manager at MTB, you will be expected to manage QSE processes and sustain knowledge of QMS standards. You will be responsible to handle customer audits/visit, interact globally and advising on a regular basis with internal and external customers on Micron Quality Management Systems.


Responsibilities and Tasks

Systematic configuration changes management.

  • Properly manage process and product tracking systems, processes, procedures, and permissions to ensure consistent and optimized tracking of product and manufacturing process changes.
  • Control systems management to ensure accurate, repeatable, and standardized manufacturing processes.
  • To facilitate area data collection and fulfill process control requirements.
  • Peer review and approve the process steps, operations, and flows in compliance with established standards to achieve consistent and transferable process flows.
  • Manage new and existing Design ID, Part Type, and Attribute setup to drive established standards and current requirements while providing accurate documentation and reporting.


Minimize risk

  • Manage to minimize risk, maximize area efficiency, and ensure product quality through proper system change control and validation.
  • Ensure timely, coordinated, and approved system configuration change management including documentation and notification to all stakeholders.
  • Provide system expertise and support for manufacturing systems, processes, and capabilities.
  • Leverage knowledge, experience, and skills with processes and systems to provide timely solutions for problems and business change requirements.


  • Understand and routinely use system capabilities to collect, investigate, and support accurate reporting, data analysis, and metric tracking.
  • Properly manage and effectively implement applications/systems, along with ensuring processes and procedures are properly tested, communicated, and deployed.
  • Identify and solve issues concerning data and change management to continually improve data and operational efficiency and quality.


Manage Quality Systems

  • Increase efficiency and effectiveness of the QMS and its processes
  • Ensure compliance to standards
  • Contribute to planning and review of QMS
  • Communicate with Global Internal and External Customers
  • Consult with department leadership on QMS Standards and initiatives
  • Promote awareness of QMS direction and status through global updates
  • Contribute to the promotion and awareness of customer requirements
  • Provide Technical Leadership and Support
  • Maintain knowledge of QMS standards, methods, and tools
  • Provide support to internal functions on the application, maintenance, and improvement of quality systems and department-specific processes
  • Maintain knowledge of Project Management and tools
  • Deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement, and control

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or Equivalent
  • Must have at least 10 years’ experience in relevant industry
  • Preferably attended Lead Assessor course in ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949 and quality tools (FMEA, SPC, PPAP, MSA, 8D).
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills


Qualifications

Working knowledge of Assembly or Test

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present data in large meetings

Proven ability to coordinate efforts across a variety of groups.

Strong data analysis and computer skills

Proven ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively

Proven ability to lead and coordinate meetings

Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control, 8D problem solving, and other quality and statistical methods and tools will be advantageous

The ability to be a proactive problem solver that communicates openly; take the initiative to assume added responsibilities.

A high level of self-motivation.
